The star of my current skin care line- up- iS Clinical Super Serum Advance +
One thing about me is I’m going to talk to you about how much I love iS Clinical products within the first 5 minutes of meeting you. My friends and co-workers all joke about my unwavering devotion to this company, but I feel no shame. I’ve been a product junkie since my early teens, when struggling with a very stubborn case of cystic acne led me to become a life long researcher of skin care products- Believe me when I say this company makes some of the (if not THE best) products around.
I rotate what I am using depending on the results I’m looking for and currently I am obsessed with the Super Serum Advance +, which like many of their serums- packs a big punch and covers a lot of bases.
What I love about this serum is it quite literally demolished the last tiny bit of my post inflammatory pigmentation (also known as acne scarring) within a matter of weeks thanks to the polyporus umbellitus, which fights dark spots and uneven skin tone by inhibiting melanin production. Combined with another powerful brighter, arbutin, this serum also acts to inhibit tyrosinase enzymes that produce melanin- so doubly effective for hyperpigmentation! The crazy thing about this serum is that it will also obliterate hypertrophic (raised) scarring, a notoriously tricky thing to tackle.
That is not all- this serum also contains another hot ticket ingredient, copper tripeptide growth factor- this stuff creates a magical synthesis that takes place within the skin’s fibroblasts (a type of cell that contributes to the formation of connective tissue) but to keep it simple- I’ll just say that it helps immensely with sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
All of this in combination with 15% L-Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) for antioxidant protection and centella asiatica for it’s anti inflammatory, wound healing properties- make this an incredible, results driven product.
